Have you heard about Philadelphia Literacy Day? Tree House Books is a non-profit Giving Library and Literacy Center on a mission to grow and sustain a community of readers, writers, and thinkers in Philadelphia. Throughout the year, Tree House Books provides children with access to books and literacy programs including after-school and summer workshops. This spring, Tree House Books is teaming up with families, community members, and organizations across the city of Philadelphia to celebrate reading through educational activities, food, entertainment, and a book swap event!

The Lenfest Center Hosts Literacy Fest and Book Giveaway
On Friday, March 24th, The Lenfest Center hosted a Lenfest Literacy Fest & Book Giveaway for families in North Philadelphia. The event featured a book giveaway, music, free resources from other community organizations, and a short play performed by Lenfest Center students! We want to thank the Lenfest Center for putting on such a great book giveaway for its students and congratulate them on a great event!

Monte Carlo Night Fundraiser
Books in Homes is excited to host its inaugural Monte Carlo Night fundraiser this summer! On June 3rd, guests will join Books in Homes at Wellshire Farms in Swedesboro, New Jersey for a night of gaming, food, and drinks. We want to thank Wellshire Farms' CEO, Lou Colameco, and his team for their ongoing support of the Books in Homes program and for welcoming our upcoming event to their campus!
