Books In Homes USA is thrilled to support Valley View Elementary students in Bloomington, Minnesota in their quest to master reading. We are grateful for Mainfreight – MSP for partnering with us to support Valley View.

Tricia Adkins, Family Literacy Specialist at Valley View Elementary, shared “Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful opportunity for our students. They were so excited to come down and choose books, and they couldn't wait to go home and share them with their families. Teachers told me about the enthusiasm the students had to read their books and that some students who usually prefer to look at books on the computer, were instead, engrossed in their new book. All students at Valley View have now received their books. We are so honored to have been chosen to take part in such an amazing program.”

Rose Peterson, Mainfreight, said “We had a wonderful time at Valley View. Watching the students’ eyes light up as they chose their books and hearing how grateful they were to learn they get to keep the books forever was the highlight of the day. The books definitely made it into the right hands.”
